Homebuyer Workshop Offered by USDA Rural Development
Interested homebuyers can attend a series of homebuyer’s workshop April 16, 2005, designed to help simplify the homebuying process. The seminar, presented by USDA Rural Development, lenders, and realtors will be held at the Independence Community College, Lecture Hall, Academic Building, 1057 W. College Ave., Independence, Kansas from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Issues addressed during the session will include budgeting, down payments, credit, financing options, insurance and taxes, offers and closing, working with a realtor, selecting a home and maintaining your investment.
A certificate of completion will be presented to all attendees that could qualify them for special discounts and programs with participating lenders.
